Iphone 4 glitching

Hello my sisters iphone has been messing up lately and needs help
- The Phone sometimes sends messages to people on the contacts list
- The phone has very slow start up times
- The zoom on it goes in and out uncontrollably
- Along with numerous other problems...
Please help ASAP

Try backing up and resetting it to factory conditions.

Not getting a response within an hour isn't a reason to create a duplicate thread.

Even so:

Step 1 is always, as Spkos says, to back-up if not already backed-up.

Then plug it into your computer, go onto iTunes and click 'Restore iPhone'. This will download new software for your iPhone, and install it on the device. If this doesn't sort it, pretty much nothing will, it's damaged.

If you don't want to or can't back-up/restore, then I've got a few tips.

First up, update your software via the settings app (Settings>General>Software Update) on the phone. iOS 7 has been slow and buggy on the iPhone 4, but the latest update (iOS 7.1) has fixed many of these issues.

Zooming in and out sounds like an accessibility option coming on and off. Go to Settings>General>Accessibility and check that 'Zoom' is off.

Slow boot times are to be expected from an iPhone 4. It's nearly 4 years old! Try updating to 7.1.

As for the sending messages, that's not an issue I'm aware of. Try updating is all I can say.

I have already set up and reset the phone didnt help and i belive the phone is up-to-date
