I'm very anti-Apple. But I admit, I was impressed by the phone and some of the differentiating features (IPS, iMovie, video chat, battery life). Still, SJobs just HAD to throw in typical Apple BS, ie. calling it the "Retina Display", or that ridiculous $29 Bumper Case. Last time I checked, a "case" is defined as something that can enclose the majority of an object. Not to mention, still charging $199/$299 for 16GB/32GB flash, which can be bought in the form of an SD card for no more than ~$60. WTF.

Samsung i9000 is only slightly thicker (0.57mm) and already available. The Super AMOLED Screen is larger at 4", but only 480x800. Still Super AMOLED is supposed to look "Quite a bit better".

326PPI, 720p video@30FPS, same A4 processor as the iPad, IPS display tech, video calling...I'm not one to ride the hype bandwagon, but this looks like a beast.

Wow look at the list of new articles on Tom's homepage. I was happy to see all the non-iphone news articles listed until this one was posted.

Apple users go out and buy this and get suckered into it because iphone 5.5256675G is coming out a few days later.

Really, be cause most of the developers that I know are good developers and love "openness crap" Apple is the only manufacturer to get code monkey money. I am not impressed at all with the apps in the app store. 200,000+ apps and they all have clones that do the same thing. That is lazy development.
