Iphone 4s battery issue

HI,
I am thinking to get an unlocked iphone 4s 16 or 32 GB soon.
But i heard the news that at Stand By time also, battery drains too much.
Is this true or just a rumor?

Iphone 4s is good to buy or i get an Android?

Please Help..!

According to some websites,5.1 is supposed to fix the battery life issues(The first beta version of it is out now)

Seems not! I've seen users reporting no change in battery life.
But the final build is coming out soon,that may change it

I've no idea when it'll be released but it should be out in this month.
And don't worry,if you want to buy it then go for it.Because if you have battery issues,you can take it to the apple store
