IPOD touch 2g wont be restored

I have an IPOD touch 2g and I went to jailbreak it and it didn't work after.

It just shows the USB plugging into itunes icon.

And when I plug my ipo into my computer it charges the ipod but it wont be recognised by itunes or my computer. when I go into device manager it does not show up at all.

I've looked at videos on youtube. but when they plug thier ipods into itunes it just automatically apears.

Your ipod is in recovery mode. Try downloading TinyUmbrella. Its a program that can take your ipod out of recovery mode. Its worked lots of times for me. Have you tried seeing if another computer will recongnize it? And did you jailbreak it with greenp0ison?

I will try on a different computer because it's just wierd why it can't see it at all. I may take a while though becuase not many of my friends have itunes. Then I'll try running tinyumbrella like you said and see if that works and then get back to you on what happens.
Yeah, I did jailbreak it with greenpoison but it didn't work.
