Is a used Creative Inspire T7700 7.1 sound system worth buying

I recently bought a gaming rig a couple of months ago and the only thing missing is a good sound system. I found a used set of Creative Inspire T7700 7.1 Speaker system and while i know they're old but they've gotten some great reviews so i'm wondering if staying on the cutting edge in audio is vital.. they're a good set for an affordable price and i don't really have a lot of choice where I live (lebanon).
