So when I select S/PDIF on my sound card software as output, the sound is awful, all I hear is almost only white noise. I was wondering if it's even possible to output S/PDIF to RCA? I bought these two cables off amazon to plug on a 90s stereo receiver. I would have used the rca or 6.3mm jack output, but those are already being used by my bookshelf speakers and headphones.
Thanks guys.
