Is the iphone's cellular IP static or dynamic

Does anyone know if the Iphones cellular IP is a static or a dynamic one?

the reason being is I want to open up the remote desktop port on my home internet so I can remote control my home computer, and I can limit that open port to a range or a certain IP address can access them.

I would think that cell phone's in general use static IP addresses, as it is more practical to assign one IP address per device.

That is what I thought too, But sadly we are both wrong, Got my remote desktop working with on that ip address, then I turned off cell data then turned it back on and it changed and my remote desktop stopped working as expected.
Hmm not sure how to get around that.
