Is this a good gaming laptop to buy next year?

Or should I wait for the Nvidia GT 980M in laptops next year? But if I buy this next year it will probably be cheaper if not by a lot.

I would wait, computers get a lot faster for the same price as technology increases year by year. So waiting for a 800 or 900 series would be best.
