Is this ASUS ROG still worth buying?

So I have a really tight budget and I've found someone selling his used ASUS ROG G75VW. Should I buy this as I intend to do light-medium gaming for the next two years. Mainly, I'm hoping to play Fallout 4 on Medium (at less than 1080p) and GTA V on Medium at 1080p. The specs of the laptop are as follows:

  GTX 660M
  12GB DDR3 RAM
  750GB HDD

Getting it for the equvalent of $550 (Computers are more expensive here). I was orginally going to build a PC for about $650, but that would have had an i3, 8GB of RAM and a 750Ti. Should I take this deal, or should I just go ahead and build the PC.

I suggest building a PC. The 600 series GPUs are old, plus the mobile versions are even less powerful so I doubt you'll get good even medium settings on those games unless you play at a low frame rate.
