Is this backlight bleeding acceptable

Is this backlight bleeding for a new laptop (HP envy 13t d000, worth $900) acceptable: http/imgur.com/a/WV9C2

Since this laptop is new, I can exchange it. But I wanted to ask if this is good. Thanks for any help.

What does it look like on your desktop screen though?

I would say that in pictures, bleeding is exaggerated by around 20%. But still pretty good backlight bleeding. I think, I will go for RMA to be on the safer side.

Yes. I did the RMA thing. However, new one also has considerable amount of backlight bleeding. I was tired of returning and waiting, so I kept the new one.

Thank you, i returned it to the store. They didn't have stock so i bought a lenovo yoga isk-14 same specs pretty much and with 365 days subscription to Office. No bleediing whatsoever.

Lenovo don't make displays, Acer/BenQ, LG, Samsung, etc make displays. They don't care if there are defects, no manufacturer do. I strongly suggest looking at one before buying, specifically looking at the one you're going to buy, not just a sample.
