Java(TM) Web launcher running 1000's of times

For some reason this program is running thousands of times in task manager. It is destroying my PC, even using only 1% of my cpu. Is it malware? Malewarebytes doesn't seem to be able to find it as it only rarely happens.

Do you see it in Task Manager?

Are they all running at start up or do you see them launching one after another?

What is the name of the process or service? Can you right-click one of the entries for more details?

Can you associate it with something in Startup?

You should be able to disable Java - have you tried that to at least stop the launches.
