Just bought asus p450ca 6gb hd4000. Cannot play sims 3 , keeps freezing

I do not play the Sims 3.

Try install the most recent graphic drivers from Intel. There is 32-bit version for Windows 7/8 32-bit and 64-bit version for Windows 7/8 64-bit.

Sims 3 does not perform well with an integrated graphics card. In order to get the best performance you will need a dedicated graphics card. However there is a chance that Sims 3 (base game only) will run on if all settings are put on low.
