Keyboard lag with certain key

So, I'm having a peculiar with my laptop. It works great, except one thing. There's lag when I type a certain key. When I press Shift+O, I get about a half second of lag before it appears on screen. Regular O works fine, as does every other key, caps or not. I thought it was just Word at first, but then I realised it's doing it everywhere. Chrome, Edge, even in Windows itself. Does anyone have any possible fix?

Not sure, but it might be a problem with the keyboard unit.

One way to PROVE this is to create a Linux distro (i.e. put Ubuntu on an 8GB USB stick and boot to it... need RUFUS to create the USB stick).

If problem still happens in Linux it's hardware (probably bad keyboard). If not, it's a software issue though I'm not sure what that could be.

Also, if you have a USB keyboard attach it and see how that works.

If it has problems too then it's software likely. If not that doesn't prove anything though it would suggest a bad laptop keyboard.

There's also a VIRTUAL KEYBOARD. If that causes a lag then it's not the physical keyboard.

OTHER: I've also had weird issues if the wrong language is running. Like French, though that only caused incorrect characters not lag.
