kindle fire wifi signal is working but the internet says connection problem

i checked my belkin wifi ,signal is excellent on my findle fire but the top of the screen my wifi status dosent have a signal and has a x through it how do i get on internet ,already did troubleshooting with wireless router co. and internet service.

Sounds like you´re not connected on the pad? Have you been connected on the pad before?

Try empy all previous wifi connection history on the tablet and try connect again with the password etc.
