Lap top won't boot

I power up the Acer Aspire 7250 and get the Acer screen a flashing curser then nothing a backlit screen and wont go to safe mode only into bios. Tried using a rescue disk it sins but does same things.

Any help?
Ideas I should try?

Can boot with Hiren or Linux Live CD/DVD?

If you can, then your operating system got broken and you need to reinstall it.

If not, highly chance of physical damage to motherboard.

I dont have those I only tried windows 7 repair disk.
