Laptop ain't remaining on after a boot into windows

Iuse Lenovo Thinkpad T410s,My laptop turns off after I boot into windows, Actually it starts on for 5-10 mins, then turns off!My laptop heats a lot too!I thought it is a battery problem! I plugged in ac source without battery and operated, but the same thing happened! Plzz help me

Sounds like the laptop is turning off due to high temperatures. Make sure all vents are dust free and the intakes aren't being blocked when used. If the laptop is old the thermal paste might be wearing off causing less than optimal heat dissipation. You may have to bring it to someone who knows how to repaste a CPU and possibly clean it out.
