Solved! Laptop asus k555l turns on by itself when AC adapter is plugged in

Hi, why does my Asus k555 without battery (removed because it was swollen) turn on on its own whenever I plug the ac adapter without even pressing the ON button? It started to happen after removing the battery I entered the BIOS to check if there's an option to disable this problem but there isn't.

The laptop may default to the adapter when the battery is removed and perhaps it even bypasses the power switch.

Could be a minor issue with the circuit or contact point just below the power button. Can you shut the computer down with the power button and power it back on afterwards?

Could just be default behavior, then. It's when the button is completely unresponsive that there's a hardware problem.
