Laptop CPU Upgrade question help

Hi there I have a old laptop that I was planning to upgrade the CPU

Now the chipset of the motherboard is a intel gm45/gm47 rev07

currently running on a intel celeron dual core t1600 @1.6ghz

I was planning to upgrade to a core 2 duo t9600 @2.8ghz

The rated fsb for the core 2 duo is 1066mhz and I am worried that my motherboard may not be 1066mhz fsb rather is 800mhz

Will the core 2 duo t9600 1066mhz fsb run on my motherboard?

I don't think you can upgrade many laptops. I might be wrong

This laptops cpu can most definetly be upgraded just need clarification on whether you can install a higher cpu fsb on a lower fsb motherboard
