Laptop doesn't boot after BIOS update

Hi,

I have updated my BIOS on my MSI GS70 6QE laptop. This went all fine without errors, and used the following BIOS: http/www.msi.com/support/nb/GS70-6QE-Stealth-Pro.html#down-bios[1] But now my laptop doesn't boot anymore, it is just stuck on the MSI screen. I have updated my BIOS on the following way: http/www.msi.com/files/pdf/Flash_BIOS_by_UEFI_BIOS_Setup_Utility_en.pdf[2] Because this didn't work I tried the following method: http/www.msi.com/files/pdf/How_to_make_a_bootable_flash_disk_and_to_flash_BIOS_en.pdf[3] But it is just stuck on a black screen after selecting to boot from USB.
Can anyone help me out?

I would recommend contacting MSI and they may flash the bios for a fee. But at this point I would not mess with it as there is a possibility of turning the entire laptop into a paper weight!

Only update your BIOS if it is absoutely necessary!

Hi,

I indeed contacted MSI, and they gave me another BIOS version to flash, so I used that one and that fixed all the problems!
