Laptop fan starts then stops itself

So in short, laptop was shut down correctly but in the morning just wouldn't start. I made sure there's no dust or anything blocking the fan. I removed the optical drive and hard drive but i don't think that would make any difference. Also there's nothing on the screen it's just black. I connected the fan outside of the laptop on 1.5V power source and it's working without stopping.

Could it be stopping because its already cool enough? Have you tried closing the case and watching temperatures and fan speed?

I can't watch them because I can't get it to post. The screen is totally black, and there's no such thing as being too cold on an AMD laptop processor. At least not this one, it was reaching 80 in idle without any problem a few weeks ago
