Hiya I'm looking to purchase a laptop for the start of September this year when I start college and begin my A-Levels (UK Thing).

I've found a few online and will link these at the end of the post. :)

However im not really sure what ill need so i'll need all the help i can get, thats where you guys come in! :)

I'll be needing to do the normal stuff at college, like taking notes in Word, using the internet, and would need to be a suitable size to fit in my rucksack. But also i'll need it to run RekordBox DJ software so i can have my song library at my fingertips to play on my Pioneer DDJ-1000. I'm also quite into music production using FL studio but i use my Desktop PC at home for that so thats not really a priority. :)

So what laptops would you reccomend? i have a budget of around £500 (UK Money) and if you're going to link anything may i ask its from an English website and availible in the UK as thats my country of residence :)

Here are the laptops ive seen :)

All answers are much appreciated, Ajsski99

Awesome :)

Anything new you'd recommend?

I know a few people in the audio industry who use the Dell Inspiron series. Which one would depend on your budget but all of the ones over $600 are generally really solid and reliable.

What do you think about this?

It's nice laptop. There's a model available with touch if you like that sort of thing. I think applications like Virtual DJ and such do have some massive support features for it although it'd be better to check on that.

Touch would be useful for Rekordbox and college, so I’ll take a look at that one :)
