Laptop for college and casual gaming

Hello, I'm looking for a laptop for college and could handle casual gaming. Options I found are the Asus N550jk, Lenovo Y50, or Asus g501jw. I heard bad reviews on these laptops, black screen issues or hdd problems. If anyone could suggest me a laptop that can handle most games at a decent fps, it will help me make up my mind. My price range up to 1100 or more (if needed). Thanks for the help.
