Good Evening to all,

I'm currently looking to buy a new laptop(s) that will meet and exceed the requirements of the above fields. I've been looking at different companies and whether I should get a consumer GPU or a enterprise GPU. I've been looking mostly at the desktop replacement range group. I'm either considering one laptop or two to handle this workload both maybe in the $2000 range and offering options.

I also been growing curious of the mac book pro with AMD GPU and the apple ecosystem, and was wondering reasons for considering a mac over a pc.

For computer science the CPU is more important than the GPU.

I'm not sure about what diagnostic tools you're talking about, but if you're thinking you'll work in CAD designing 3d models or such -- here is an article.

Honestly, for school - unless you're gaming - built in graphics will be fine.

As for programs I don't have a general set at this point and know that the type of programs will determine the OS,GPU, etc. I'm trying to get a direction to head towards or criteria to set.
