Hello
I have had this problem for a long time now but there seems to be no definite answer on the internet. I have a Toshiba Satellite P50t-B.
My laptop turns on and proceeds to the Toshiba logo. After that, the laptop screen is just black (even when the HDMI cable to the external monitor is already plugged in, the external monitor is black too.) I press the power button to put the laptop to sleep, then when i press it again ONLY the EXTERNAL MONITOR works.
Why does my laptop screen not work. It is not a hardware or screen replacement issue. I have reinstalled Windows 10 on it and I am assuming that the issue has something to do with the Intel 4600 graphics driver. I have tried everything, the taking off battery (pressing reset button) and unplugging and all that doesnt work for me. Please help me as I have been trying to solve this for over a year now. All the graphics drivers are up to date and everything.
WHen i try and detect another screen, it cannot detect anything.
Thank you very much. I really need to fix this and any help is appreciated!
