Solved! Laptop HDMI output to Pioneer MCS 333 5.1 Channel Surround System

Hello guys,

I am planning to buy Pioneer MCS 333 and I will be using this player mainly with Laptop through HDMI cable.

Because unlike other HTIB, this player has 4 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output.

But I still want to make sure that whether the player can receive video signal and 5.1 surround signal from Laptop HDMI or not.

It can if the laptop will output 5.1 via HDMI. Check the audio control panel to make sure you can configure it to do that.

All I want to make sure is if the player can receive DD or DTS 5.1 audio from its HDMI input.

I am sure that laptop can send 5.1 or 7.1 via HDMI. 😀
