So I have a Y700 gaming laptop from Lenovo, my specs: i7 6700HQ gtx 960m , I actually play BF4 on low locked at 60 fps after some hours of gaming (3 hours) the temperature raise to 75C, and I have discovered that only 58% of the gpu is in load, so I have raised graphics to high and after 30mins the laptop reached 76C so I lowered the quality. My question is: is there a heat problem and how can I use my GPU performance without getting hot like this ? Thank you.
PS: I love that laptop and don't want it to die because of heat like my previous one.

What temp reached 75c? GPU, CPU, motherboard? The laptop likely monitors the temp of quite a few different things. 75c should not cause the cpu to throttle which will lower its clock speed and bottleneck your gpu. If the gpu is at 75c, again that should not be hot enough for it to throttle.

I don't mean that it throttle I mean that I don't use the real gpu power because I don't want my laptop to die because of the heat, and when playing for 30 mins it shouldn't reach that temperature in that speed if I continue playing it will reach more than 80C the motherboard was hotter than gpu and cpu and they where at same temp

Im not a laptop guy so cant comment on just how effective they are but they do seem to drop a few degrees, have you played around with the fan curves? if you get the fans running faster at a lower temp you may be able to bring them down that way. although 75c isnt cause for concern, cooler is better. or maybe try propping the laptop up at the back slightly (like a keyboard) give it more room to breath

I am gonna buy a cooling pad thanks for ur answer but when I see that the GPU is running only at 58% and generate all that heat it make me sad...

Does it harm the fans?
