laptop is underpreforming

hello,

i just have bought a new laptop, it is the MSI GT60 2PE-678NL DOMINATOR PRO.
the specs are:
processor: intel core i7 4810MQ
memory: 16 GB RAM SO-DIMM DDR3-1600
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M 8192 MB

I thought this was a really good laptop, but when i play games my fps drops all the time and when i play battlefield hardline beta the fps will not go above 15. The strange thing is that on the site were i bought the laptop they mentioned that it could run games like battlefield 4 on high settings and the NVIDIA site says the same.

I hope that people at this forum know a solution for this because otherwise it kind of would be a waste of money.

got the newest update for my GPU and all the other drivers i downloaded of a CD that the store gave me when i bought the laptop.
I think I got the newest drivers of all the things

what are the temps on it? may be its throttling due to the cooling system failing?
return your system?

when i am playing world of tanks my GPU has 80 degrees celcius and CPU 70 degrees celcius. i do not really understand what you mean by the second part, english is not my first language. Would be really strange that a new bought laptop allready has problems on the first day.

sounds like your laptop cooling is broken - i'd return it / send it back for repair or refund.
