Laptop keyboard problem

keyboard on my asus a3f does not work properly. actually few keys on it do not work. i think it has happened after i installed windows 7 on my laptop which is xp and vista capable. as most of the drivers did not work on windows 7, i had to uninstall it and go for xp again. and then later i discovered that few keys on my keyboard do not work. so can anyone please help me out to solve this problem.

It's more likely a hardware problem, but check that you have the right language and international settings.

I don't have a solution but do have the same problem after installing windows 7.
Ex: I'm typing a sentence and the cursor will just jump to a different point in the sentence.
Any advice?
