I dropped my laptop and the screen cracked slightly. My laptop is an "HP 2000 Notebook PC" and has the product number of "D6Q45AV". I watched a video (this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9elOlc71aog) of someone replacing the LCD of what looks to be the exact laptop as mine, with the "2000" marking at the bottom right of the screen aswell.

The person in the video has a refer link to the exact LCD screen he bought (this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181197514029?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649). It seems to be correct with it saying "HP 2000", but the model number listed is "2C22DX". In the video the guy says that there is an HP 2000 series of laptops, so I assume there must be similar looking laptops out there with different innards.

My question is, could this screen still work for my laptop (as it still has the same length/resolution)? If not, how can I find the exact screen (I searched for my model number and found nothing)?

Try screencountry dot com

And I think you need to find your correct model number.

Alternately, you could remove your broken screen and see what the model number of the screen is, there is usually a label on the back with that info.

Well that is my model number. I checked system specs and it says that's it. I searched for it on the site you recommended and came with no results.
