I have a Sony Vaio Laptop with Windows 7, an Intel Pentium processor, and 8 GB's of RAM.
Recently, I have had a very odd issue. After 30-60 minutes of use, my Laptop will loose any ability
of emitting sound and will result in heavy static, and then 2-5 minutes later will shut down. No warning. No prompt. It will just shut down entirely. I will provide any information that is needed, and will be very thankful for any information provided.

UPDATE: My laptop does indeed, NOT overheat. It has happened again recently, and my hardware was only at 50C.

UPDATE 2: All mouses including the one that is built in will sometimes not register "clicks".

Something is faulty even if the cpu is doing fine something else on the board could be getting hot, this is a board issue. RMA if you have a warranty.

Once in a great while the thermal sensor will not report temps accurately if it is faulty; just something to file away. In any case, there is definitive hardware failure in said scenario. If it's not thermal overload, it may be the CPU or board.
