LAPTOP NOT COMING ON NO LIGHTS

My ASUS B45F will not turn on, will not charge, not light indicators, nothing. Laptop is just dead. AC adapter is powering the laptop, but no lights. I tested the pin coming from the AC adaptor that plugs into the laptop and I get 20v and the adapter has a green light on it.

The laptop just will not show any light saying it is charging or anything, just dead.

What do you think is wrong with it?

It is working again, what I did was remove the battery, hold down the power button for 60 sec. and left the battery out for 2 hrs, and put it back in again, and vualar! the laptop started working without the charger.

Charger also works now!
