Laptop not power on

My dell d800 can't power on , when i press power button the power led flash for second only.

I found an answer similar to your issue here:

"The strip that runs across the top of your keyboard, the one that actually says LATITUDE | D800 has a circuit strip that runs underneath it and connects all your buttons to the computer. Try pressing down on that strip in the top right side corner of your keyboard and pressing the power button at the same time."

You need to go to a best buy or some one who can take a detailed look at it. As far I can assume, if your computer cannot not power up even when plugged in, it could be a critical hardware failure.
