Laptop question for june 2016

Been looking at laptops last 2 weeks debating on 2 things get a nice asus 980m laptop G series that i seen for 1499 or wait till 1070 or 1080 laptops come out so my question is what will the 1070 and 1080 laptops cost you think? it worth waiting for? or will the 980m asus be fine for 2-4 years for good gaming now and decent/low gaming later till ready to buy a new one? thoughts and suggestions ^^?

New gen laptops are likely to cost the same as the models out now with a 980m chip. The 980m or even the 970m will be fine for games for several years, of course with lower settings towards the end of the usable life.

It is good that spend 1499 to get a 980m gaming laptop, ASUS is good, yet you could consider others such as MSI or Alienware. For instance, MSI GT series got excellent processing performance with dual thermal cooling system.
