Laptop recovery mood (won't start)

Hi,
My Dell laptop will start up, go into recovery mode, it will go trough recovery mode and then say that it couldn't find the problem and that I should try.... I tried all the things in the list and the laptop just reboots and the whole thing happens again. Help please!

it goes from the windows loading icon with the bar under it and then goes straight into the recovery mode... I don't even get to see the safe mode options (the command promt thing, and safe mode)

There's no answer on there...
On the website it says something drive failure. Would that be hard drive failure or cd/dvd driver or something else?

is dvd drive so does your laptop have 1 as some new laptops don't come with 1 built in?

yeah, I have a dvd drive. If this is failing (not working) would it stop my laptop from running/turning on/working?

read this link on how to remove your dvd drive. only need a small Philips screwdriver to remove 1 screw to remove the drive. leave the drive open when you shutdown the laptop to use the tray to pull the drive out of the laptop. turn on laptop to see if will load into windows properly. http://downloads.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_laptop/esuprt_inspiron_laptop/inspiron-17-n7010_service%20manual_en-us.pdf

So I did this and the computer would still go right to recovery mode, and then when it finishes it says it couln't find the problem and restarts, etc.
Anything else that might be causing the problem and making the laptop not work? maybe that error doesn't affect anything.

Yeah, there is a lot of photos and resumes I have to get off of it. I have another computer (PC) that I could put the data on but don't know how because it doesn't work.
