Laptop replacement screen not working

my first led screen for my laptop had stopped displaying due to my laptop overheating I believe. Not sure why.

I bought a screen replacement from here.

I replaced my screen and there is still no display showing on the screen.

I plugged it into an external monitor and that works fine.

I have a new video cable being shipped to see if the cable might be the issue as well.

Any help on this would be really appreciated.

Well if it shows fine on the external monitor, and you are certain you connected the new display correctly, I would say it is the cable connecting it. It will need replacing.
