Laptop running slow after system restore

I had to system restore after my laptop stated that there was no graphics drivers and was trying to reinstall all my programs so I restarted in safe mode and did a system restore. When it was all done everything seemed to be fine except when I tried to run any program it would tell me that a file dciman32.dll was missing. Managed to find a website that had it, downloaded and installed it. When I started one of my games I thought everything was ok but it ran really slow like I was running it on a really old or low spec pc. Anyone know why this is happening?

System restores do not affect your system's documents or files. Chances are that you haven't got the appropriate drivers installed. Double check it! 😛
