Laptop screen goes blank when connecting HDMI cable

tv screen goes blank when connecting HDMI cable to my laptop (toshiba)

hi it is possible that you havent selected the correct setting on the laptop so that when the cable is plugged in its knows where to send the signal to,

press the windows key and p at the same time and then select the option that you want

if this doesn't give u a result then make sure that you have the correct drivers installed, in know some amd drivers can cause hdmi problems
