Laptop software problem

Hello, I am using a lenovo ideapad y 510p core i5. I bought it about 2 years ago. My problem started recently. I cant use software like kmplayer, Skype, share it, windows photo viewer etc..... Nd many more. After installing when i try to open these ""( it has stopped working, windows is finding a solution)"" msg comes. Now sometimes my laptop hangs for a long time. Sometimes after opening a blank screen appears. Then i have to shut down the laptop via power button.
Can u help me plz????? What could be the problem. I am currently using win 8.1 but i had tried win 10,8 for a solution but failed.

It sounds like your OS has become corrupted. You could try and diagnose where it is going wrong by using Event Viewer, but if it is affecting multiple programs, I would just backup all personal data, then reformat the hard drive and carry out a fresh installation of Windows 10.
