Laptop Suddenly Will Not Turn On

I was using my laptop earlier and then I closed it and when I came back it wouldn't turn it on and wouldn't even show the light when I plugged it in. I have two concerns. I was using it in the bathroom and it was still steamy and my hands were damp, so I'm concerned that water got in. Second, my hard drive randomly crashed and I just got it replaced so I'm worried that maybe something went wrong there.

The moisture from the steam in the bathroom could have very well saturated the electronics and killed the system. Let the laptop dry out, and pull the battery and AC adapter from it. Give the laptop 24 hours to dry, then reconnect the battery and charger and cross your fingers.
