Laptop under $1000

Hey guys what's up? So i am going to college next year and i am looking for a quad core i7 laptop under $1000. so far i looked at this, the acer Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WJSQRNK/ref=psdc_565108_t2_B00NJNG2DO#Ask
Things I needd:
1TB Hard drive
Quad core i7-4720HQ
8GB RAM.

Try gettinga MSI Leopard pro or the Apache pro. They are both great gaming laptops and are very fast at doing work in general. The cheaper MSI gaming series laptops should be under $1000

I recommend buying a used laptop. You can get a super high end used laptop with that budget and save on the premium.
