laptop will not run on ac power when the battery is removed.When powered off with the battery in, the battery will charge, it seems like the laptop only runs on battery power. The laptop will not run on ac power even though it is plugged into ac power.

It seems like the laptop only runs on battery power until the battery runs dead which is in about 10 to 15 minutes. Laptop will not power up without the battery installed.

Hi, maybe the problem comes from the charging chip, in your case, the MB3887 can be defective.
