Laptop with 2.3GHz i7, GT 650M/512MB GDDR5 vs. 2.6GHz i7, GT 650M/1GB GDDR5

Okay so I decided against getting a Retina Display Macbook for the following reasons.

1. Display has reported a lot of issues and I just don't want to deal with it.
2. There is no Ethernet port which is upsetting.

Okay so I've upgraded the Macbook Pro to have 8GB of Ram since it only started out with 4.

Now I'm left wondering which processor should I get, if I upgrade the processor the graphics gets upped but I'm not sure if I need it.

I'll be using this laptop to 2D/3D animate and probably play games everynow and then.

I was also wondering if it mattered what harddrive I was getting default it's 500GB, but I was wondering would it be worth it to upgrade to a 126GB SSD. I would either up the processor, the HDD to SSD, or just keep it at default.

Or do any of you think I should just risk it and get the Retina + ethernet adapter since it comes with 8GB of Ram, 2.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.4GHz with GT 650M/1GB, 256 Flash Storage.

Get the 15in retina its better since it
Has hdmi(comes in useful when you least expect it).
The graphics are overclockable in case you need it.
SSD is much faster and still upgradeable in case you really need to later on.
It's going to be slightly better if you decide to get the retina although I say get the 2.4 with 16GB of Ram and 512 harddrive if you want to. Good luck and if you can hold out a few months for a price drop and better cpus.

Thanks for the heads up. I will definitely be waiting for the price drop. I don't need the laptop until August anyways.
