Laptop won't boot *from sleep mode* - screen flickers/color bars

I have a Dell Inspiron 5559 that's roughly 2.5 years old.

So this past December my laptop decided it didn't want to boot from sleep mode. It still boots fine from a full power down, it works fine, but if I close it and try to boot it up again, it gives me a black screen and nothing else unless I press keys. When I press keys, it will flicker rapidly as I press and give me this screen:

Basically just driver errors that needed reinstalling. Hope this helps you the same!

I only had the one driver to uninstall, but it did solve the problem. (It also disabled my brightness/brightness control temporarily?) I reinstalled fresh from the intel site (Intel HD Graphics 520) and the problem came back, so I've uninstalled again. Does this mean I can't have up to date graphics?

As far as I know the problem is in Microsofts last windows update... Well atleast this problems started than.


They now a days put your IntelHD drivers in the windows package. So when they update something it can go wrong.

yup even i'm facing the same problem from a week what should i do?
wait till the next update?
