laptop wont come on or charge

I have an asus notebook laptop it wont turn on or charge i was researching something and it just shut off by it self and the light wont come when im charging it i had for 4 months now PLEASE help

Pull the battery and the charger out, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, then reconnect power to it and try again.

You do not need to leave the laptop with no power source for 10 minutes.
