laptop wont post fan turns off then right back off

Dell latitude laptop wont turn on fan starts then stops.

Bad motherboard probably. Try it without a battery, and also try to reset the BIOS. In some laptops you remove battery and wall power, hold down the power button for about 30 seconds, plug in and try again.
