Laptop won't power on, orange light at Ethernet port (Alienware m17x R3)

Searching it up, I believe this is the motherboard light?

Now I have this new problem. The fan spins, orange light flickers on once, then the laptop is off. The power button/keyboard doesn't light up either.

From my experience that's a signal for bad RAM sticks, replacing them should solve the issue

I have the same problem and I have removed both ram sticks and tried to switch on the laptop again and there are no beeps.

Does this mean that the motherboard is faulty?
