laptop won't turn on using ac adapter alone

hi all,

i got problems with my laptop asus A43S

it won't turn on when :

-using battery alone
-using ac adapter alone
-using both battery and ac adapter

It can turn on using :
-another same model battery alone
-battery from another laptop and my ac adapter but it won't charge

Then i made a testing on another laptop asus A43S model using my battery and my ac adapter. The result was :
-laptop can't turn on using battery alone (means battery is dead)
-laptop can turn on using ac adapter alone (ac adapter ok)
-laptop can't turn on using both battery and ac adapter

i also done hard reset but to no success
already open and pull out the ram and then put it in again but also cannot

can anyone help me? is it mother board?

Actually there is one error in your info. The adapter could still be the problem.

Some laptops won't turn on with the adapter alone. If the battery is out they just won't do a thing. Also, once you replace the battery (since you know it is dead) try charging with both the laptop turned on and turned off (off not hibernate or sleep) and see if the battery will charge. If it only charges while the laptop is off, then the charger may be damaged as well. When an adapter is not putting out 'enough' power to both run a device and charge the battery, it won't charge when turned on but will when off.

Hi, ok i've done testing and the results as below:

1) using original ac adapter, replaced the battery, turned off laptop - not charging
2) using original ac adapter, replaced the battery, turned off laptop - not charging

3) using original adapter alone, and then other adapter alone, laptop not turn on
4) using other ac adapter, replaced the battery, turned on laptop - not charging

5) using other ac adapter, replaced the battery, turned off laptop - not charging
6) using original adapter alone on another asus a43s laptop - laptop can on

7) using original adapter with battery(new battery) on another asus a43s laptop - laptop can on and charging
even when turn off

So what do i do..it charging fine on another laptop..so the adapter is fine?

If it is allowing for charging on a different laptop then it sounds like it is fine.

The only other thing I can think of on yours would be the charging circuit on the motherboard.
