LCD TV screen repair

Hi, Can a LCD TV that has been dropped be repaired? It was brand new out of the box and fell after being set up. It has multicolored vertical/horizontal lines radiating out of one point, perhaps where it hit something as it fell. Thanks.

It can be repaired such that a new panel is installed but that's usually as expensive as buying a new TV itself.

Being a new TV, see what you can do with it being under warranty.

There is a similiar problem with my tv. I got hit 1 day with a small metal object and formed an X under the screen of multicolored lines. It spred each day till it reached the top and the bottom of the screen. I have yet to take it anywhere, I just got used to it lol but if what TheViper says is true try seeing what you can do with the warranty.
