Lenovo Flex laptop lags when plugged in and nothing else is fixing it

When I plug in my laptop the entire system lags, youtube, chrome and games all lag and nothing I find is working...

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-5010U CPU @ 2.10GHz 2.10 GHz
4 GB of ram
64bit operating system

Please Help

Sounds like it is using more power to charge the battery, which is causing the lag. Try charging when it is off. Otherwise it could be the battery is in need of replacing, which is causing the lag, or it could actually be the charger is going bad and going to need replacing. It would be hard to tell which at this stage though.
