lenovo ideapad 110-141sk volume

on my brand new Lenovo laptop, I can just barely hear the audio, even sitting right in front of it. All volume controls are set to the highest setting. Any ideas to adjust volume?

Try to update your driver. Plug a headset and check if it still the same or adjust settings in volume properties.

Well my IdealPad 110-15ISK has only one mono speaker, so right away you only have half the audio output of most laptops which have two speakers. Really this is not a driver issue but a design issue only having one tiny mono speaker and a pathetic audio chip that probably produces small output power. This combination won't produce good volume no matter what driver you install. The hardware is simply not capable and using external speakers is a better option.
